This fairy-tale dress makes the wearer the Belle of the Ball. Saphire blue lace over cream Moire taffeta makes a decided statement on the dancefloor. The 2 piece ensemble has a Victorian blouse with large unlined lace elbow-length sleeves. Sheer gold stripe ribbon over cream ribbon trims the neck, over the shoulders and the lace trim on the sleeves. The lace trim is gorgeous in cream with gold lurex design. The 8 gore skirt has 8 mini-cascades of lace trim, all edged with the gold sheer ribbon. Seven of the 8 gores are of saphire lace over cream taffeta but the front gore is left unadorned to show off the Moire taffeta, which is also used on the bottom skirt ruffle. Top skirt ruffle is of saphire lace over cream taffeta. Fabric covered elastic belt has a pretty gold buckle that is adjustable. Comes with man's matching tie.
